Vibrant, Healthy, free-flowing Waterways in the Blackstone Valley, Treasured by All

Winter Hike

The Blackstone River watershed contains rivers and streams, ponds and lakes, wetlands and uplands.  Each of these is an important piece of the puzzle for understanding the complexity of, and challenges to, the watershed.  The BRWA offers a guided winter hike each year to help raise awareness and appreciation of these pieces.  Hiking is one of the most popular recreational activities within the Blackstone River watershed.  Participants on BRWA hikes enjoy an afternoon exploring woodlands, meadows, or rocky outcrops while learning about the history, geology and natural history of the land.  Please join us for the next one listed on our calendar!
